Common Questions
You've Got Questions... We've Got Answers!
How do I reserve a puppy?
To reserve a puppy, we accept deposits on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you place a deposit, your name is added to our reservation list in the order the deposit was received. When the puppies are born, families choose their puppies in that same order of reservation. Please reach out through our [Contact Us page] to start the process. We require a $500 deposit to hold your spot on our reservation list.

Is my deposit refundable?
Deposits are generally non-refundable but may be transferable to a future litter in some cases. Contact us for details.

What happens if I’m the third pick for a girl puppy, but there aren’t enough girls born?
If your litter doesn’t have enough puppies of the gender you reserved, you will have three options:
-
Transfer your deposit to any other upcoming litter of your choice.
-
Switch to the opposite gender in the same litter if there are extra puppies available.
-
Receive a full refund of your deposit.

At what age do puppies go home and when do the puppy selections take place?
Our puppies go home at 8 weeks of age, and the "Go Home" day is that same day! We typically do go home days on Friday, and you will know the exact date and time of your selection when puppies are born. You will either come to our home or we can also FaceTime to help you make your selection.
What if I need my puppy shipped to me?
While we love for families to pick up their puppies in person, we understand that’s not always possible. We work with trusted transportation services like Pet Commute, Pet Jet Pals, and several individual couriers we know personally who would pick your puppy up from us and travel with him/her in cabin to meet you at the airport of your choice. The cost is reasonable and the service is excellent.

What supplies do I need for my new puppy?
Check out our Puppy Essentials page for a list of items we recommend for your new furry family member, or click here.

Do your dogs live in kennels?
No. All our breeding dogs live in loving Guardian Homes where they are part of the family. We believe this produces happier, well-socialized moms and dads who are living their best life!

Are your breeding dogs health tested?
Yes. We perform OFA hips, elbows and heart clearances, as well as a genetic panel that covers a multitude of health testing for Golden Retrievers.

Do you have older dogs available?
Very rarely. As all of our breeding females are in a guardian home they are not usually retired into a different family. Occasionally if a puppy or dog is not the right fit for a family or they have a family crisis, we will help rehome an older dog.
